For anyone who may have not been keeping track, Bethesda’s blunders just keep piling up with “Fallout 76” with everything related to the game being one giant mess. Not only is the game itself a complete failure of an attempt at multiplayer, but the special edition items have also been disappointing. In the case of the infamous canvas bags, replacements are on their way, but they won’t arrive for months.
These bags are the same ones that were supposed to come with the Power Armor Edition of the game and have since earned the ire of the web. Not only were the bags an absolute insult compared to what was promised, but the excuse that Bethesda gave was also just pathetic. To try and appease the angry customers who got nylon “Fallout 76” bags instead of canvas bags, the company will be shipping out new ones. Unfortunately, they are about four to six months away.
This offer for a replacement also comes on top of the original offer of compensation in the form of 500 Atoms that the players could use in “Fallout 76.” Considering just how much of a disappointment the game is, however, this really was not enough for a lot of customers. Adding to the problem was the recent fiasco wherein customer data was accidentally leaked in the process of replacing the bags.
Suffice it to say, Bethesda did not do a good job with “Fallout 76” and everything that it is affiliated with. In fact, this might just be the company’s worst project ever. This certainly was not an issue when the other games in the franchise were released. Despite the complaints leveled at “Fallout 4,” it was at least a proper game in the series. For those who still want to play “Fallout 76,” the game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
