Many are watching and waiting for the announcement of the premiere date of "The Walking Dead" spin-off series 'Fear the Walking Dead' Season 2. Well, now is your lucky day because AMC has announced that "Fear The Walking Dead" will officially come back to the airwaves on Sunday, April 10, 2016. It was also confirmed that the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 premiere will be aired in the U.K. almost simultaneously with the U.S. This means that the British audiences will see the second season premiere of the spin-off zombie drama on Monday, April 11.
Series showrunner Dave Erickson explained that there will be 15 episode this season and we will be seeing the cast Madison (Kim Dickens), her daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), stepson Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie), and boyfriend Travis (Cliff Curtis) embarking on an adventure in the sea as they try to escape the zombie-infested Los Angeles.
"We are thrilled to be starting production and even more thrilled to be shooting in Mexico," the series showrunner revealed in a previous interview with Variety. "Baja Studios has been home to some of the greatest ocean-set films in recent years and provides all the creative resources we need to begin this new chapter in the 'Fear' saga. We couldn't be happier."
The second season will pick up from where they left off in the first season thus they will be in a yacht away from the walkers. But this does not mean that they will be safe from harm. There are still other people who are trying to find a safe place and there are competitions.
Series creator Robert Kirkman also explained that even though they may be in a voyage, there will still be actions saying, "…just because it takes place on the boat doesn't mean they'll be on the boat all the time. It will be a seafaring adventure,".
Fans will have to find out more as 'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 premieres this April 2016.
