“Final Fantasy 7 Remake” stole the show at the 2019 E3 last month. Square Enix presented an all-new and more comprehensive gameplay trailer. The developer has also finally given a release date for fans to look forward to. Excited gamers can now pre-order the game to receive exclusive perks.
‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ pre-order: Is it worth buying before the release date?
Like most video games up for pre-orders, “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” is being offered in three bundles, and each package comes with exclusive digital and physical items that make buying early worth it. The most basic option is the Standard Edition priced at $59.99 with the copy of the game, the Chocobo Chick Summon Materia DLC, and an exclusive game theme.
Those who like to collect physical items themed after the game can also pre-order “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” Deluxe Edition for $79.99. Aside from the copy of the game, it comes with the Cactuar Summon and Carbuncle Summon materia, a steelbook case for disc safekeeping with Sephiroth on the cover, a hardbound art book, and a mini-soundtrack CD.
Fans who do not mind spending much more for the game might want to consider buying the “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” 1st Class Edition for $329.99. That may seem like a large amount of money, but it could be worth it for avid fans.

‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ release date: Does Square Enix offer early access?
The free Materia alone could be enough to entice players in pre-ordering “Final Fantasy 7 Remake.” Square Enix is not offering early access on any of the pre-order bundles. However, buying the game early will ensure players can start playing “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” on its official release date on March 3, 2020, provided that they submit their pre-orders until Feb. 18, 2020, before 11:59 p.m. PST. “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda also previously confirmed that developers are planning to make the game available on next-generation consoles that could be released next year.
