When it comes to food anime shows, “Food Wars” Season 4 is something of a mixed bag when considering the overall concept of food, anime, and those who love those things. The fourth plate of the show is expected to come out sometime during the fall of 2019. When it does, there are bound to be even more competitions ala ‘Iron Chef’ where the stakes involve pride and the possible end of culinary dreams.
Even though it is a popular anime series, J.C. Staff is really taking its time creating “Food Wars” Season 4. The delay is likely due to the workload that the studio is under, OtakuKart reports. After all, this is the same studio that worked or is currently working on projects like “One Punch Man” to varying degrees of quality. Suffice it to say, it can’t really bring its full force to one of its headliner properties.
Now that the second season of the overpowered character parody is out, fans can expect the work on “Food Wars” Season 4 to kick to high gear finally. This could then mean that its release sometime later this year could actually come true.
Barring any delays that could further make the wait for “Food Wars” Season 4 even more excruciating, the fourth plate season might be well into the production process. The plot should be fairly interesting to those who have an interest in food development, as well. Though, for those who might be expecting good storytelling, they might come away from the upcoming season a bit disappointed.
Whatever the case may be, if “Food Wars” Season 4 does come out on September or near that, it will be a great holiday gift to the fans hoping to watch episodes of the anime again. If nothing else, the show is likely to bring some excellent animated dishes to the table.
