A prominent theme in the upcoming “Fortnite” Season 5 is “Worlds Collide,” which lends credence to the theory that this next season is going to feature realities and time periods crashing together. This presents players with a wonderful opportunity to have good old-fashioned “Fortnite: Battle Royale” in potential Western or Viking motifs. There’s even an ax image going around flaming this theory.
As GameSpot notes, “Fortnite” Season 5 is almost here and with it comes the possibility of players entering different worlds and events in history. There have been numerous hints going around the web indicating such an eventuality, with a recent tweet by the official “Fortnite” account being the most explicit. Yes, that’s a Viking axe that appears to be cracking reality.
Scheduled for launch on Thursday, July 12, players are eagerly awaiting what “Fortnite” Season 5 has to offer. This period also presents fans with very little time to complete the remaining challenges for Season 4. Doing so would be highly advised since it would give them extra resources once the upcoming season actually launches.
In terms of what features players can expect from the new theme, there have been no specifics announced. However, this didn’t stop publications like Newsweek from presenting their ideas of what they would like to see in the upcoming season. Specifically, the publication posted a list of worlds that it would like to see when “Fortnite” Season 5 comes around.
Naturally, there’s the Wild West item on the list, which is practically required in these kinds of rundowns. Then again, the idea does seem intriguing and almost fitting with Cowboys shooting each other until only one remains.
There’s also the Pirates idea, with players shooting each other in pirate gear and using flintlock pistols. The possibilities are practically endless, which only makes the prospect of “Fortnite” Season 5 more exciting for players.
