Forza Horizon 4 introduces a new game mechanic, letting you experience the same highways and back alleys with vastly different road conditions affected by the changing seasons. Seasons will cycle weekly, starting with summer when the game launches, and offer special time-sensitive events and awesome rewards. Microsoft has now detailed the initial four weeks of content, which will run through the full seasonal cycle.
As detailed on Twitter, each season will host a selection of new seasonal events, and there will be five every season except for winter, which will have three. All of them also have seven new daily events and one new weekly event in Forzathon, two new cars for car pass owners, and new stock in the Forzathon Shop. A new exclusive car will be also be made available in each season: the Ferrari 812 in summer, 911 GT3 RS '19 in autumn, Chevrolet ZR2 in winter, and Honda Civic '18 in spring, Windows Central reported.
As a first-party studio game from Microsoft, Forza Horizon 4 will be included with Xbox Game Pass on the day of release. It costs $10 per month, so if you'd like to try Forza it's a cost-effective way to sample the full game along with the rest of the Game Pass library. For fans of 007, Microsoft has already announced a James Bond car pack with some of the character's most iconic and epic rides.
The racing simulation has received multiple accolades from critics. Hopefully, this loot-based approach will be greatly accepted by gamers. The title doesn't feature any microtransactions, so you have to do things the old-fashioned to get these cars. Forza Horizon 4 forgoes the Australian landscape and drops players in Britain. Not only does the game look better than it's previous installments, but it also features the historic and twisty city of Edinburgh.
