Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and a major producer of Nvidia’s AI servers, announced plans to introduce humanoid robots at its Houston factory. The facility, which builds advanced AI servers for Nvidia, is set to deploy the robots in early 2026, marking a significant step toward automated smart manufacturing.
According to the company, the Houston plant will be among the first to implement humanoid robots powered by Nvidia’s cutting-edge Isaac GR00T N model, an advanced robotics platform designed to boost efficiency and precision in AI-driven production lines. The announcement was made during Nvidia’s annual developers’ conference in Washington, D.C., where Foxconn highlighted its commitment to building a world-leading AI smart factory.
Foxconn, officially known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., emphasized its growing role in supporting Nvidia’s AI ecosystem. The company said it will continue expanding AI server production in Texas, Wisconsin, and California to meet the rapidly increasing global demand for AI data center infrastructure.
“Our team is bringing the most advanced AI data center solutions to the United States, helping our leading customers stay ahead in the AI race,” said Foxconn Chairman Young Liu.
This collaboration underscores Foxconn’s strategic focus on AI manufacturing and automation, aligning with Nvidia’s push to integrate robotics and artificial intelligence across industrial operations. By leveraging Nvidia’s robotics technology, Foxconn aims to set a new benchmark for AI-powered smart factories, showcasing how humanoid robots can revolutionize modern production systems.
