“Frozen 2” is ready for release, and at least two trailers have already been unveiled to give fans some sneak peek of the movie sequel. In the first trailer, people observed that the movie seems to be darker this time. This is because Elsa was shown determined and appeared to be heading out for a big fight.
Moreover, Elsa’s aura has changed as she now exudes a very strong personality, far from the sweet and calm lady in the original movie. The second trailer was longer, but it did not provide a concrete idea of what the plot is about. As a result, there were many guesses as to why Elsa and Anna are out on a journey with Olaf and Kristoff.
Where are Elsa and Anna heading to?
It was suggested that perhaps the sisters want to “find the truth,” but what truth that they are seeking is unclear. Some fans stated that they might be trying to find out what happened to their parents because there is a possibility that they could be alive somewhere. Or, perhaps, their parents were actually murdered and did not die due to the storm so they could be looking for the villain.
The most popular theory is that Elsa and Anna are on the way to a land where the former got her powers from. This means that “Frozen 2” may be about revealing the source of Elsa’s powers and how she got it. Whatever the right answer is would definitely shock the viewers when it finally comes out in theaters.
Cast
All the original cast are returning to reprise their roles for “Frozen 2.” Fans can expect Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf) to return. Aside from the, two people have named to join the cast line up, and it includes Sterling K Brown and Evan Rachel Wood, as per Variety.
Release date
“Frozen 2” has been scheduled to be released in cinemas in the U.S. and U.K. on Nov. 22. For moviegoers for the rest of the world, the premiere date may come later but has yet to be announced.
