- Australia: National Australia Bank’s business confidence rose to 5 in the third quarter. Full time employment declined by 53,000 and part time employment grew by 43,200. So net employment declined by 9,800. Unemployment rate came at 5.6 percent.

- Germany: Producer price index for September will be released at 6:00 GMT.
- Switzerland: Trade balance for September will be released at 6:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: Current account for August will be released at 8:00 GMT. ECB will announce interest rate decision at 11:45 GMT, followed by press conference at 12:30 GMT.
- United Kingdom: Retail sales for report for September will be released at 8:30 GMT.
- United States: Weekly jobless claims report will be published at 12:30 GMT, followed by existing home sales report at 14:00 GMT. EIA will report on weekly natural gas inventories at 14:30 GMT.
- Auctions: Spain will auction 10 year bonds today.
