Months away before the Season 7 premiere of the HBO fantasy drama “Game Of Thrones,” several eagle-eyed fans postulated that Arya (Maisie Williams) is set to reunite with one of the show’s beloved characters.
Buzzfeed said the theory started with the actress’ Instagram and the many instances she was spotted at some parts in Calgary. The damning photos was of Williams raising her hands up while seated on one of the two outdoor chairs that overlooked the beautiful, snowy mountains of Banff, Alberta, which is just outside Calgary. The trending news site noted that Calgary is the home base of the Instinct Animals for Film, the group that offers the vary trained wolves for the show.
The group’s Instagram also was another giveaway, was of a wolf with the following caption, which read, “Ready to work #instinctwolves #winteriscoming #feedme.”
Considering that Arya’s clan each had a direwolf in the family, fans were quick to deduce that Stark’s daughter would be reuniting with her direwolf Nymeria. Uproxx said, “Four of the Stark’s six direwolves — Summer, Shaggydog, Grey Wind, and Lady — are dead, leaving only Ghost, who’s chilling (literally) with Jon, and Nymeria, who hasn’t been seen since she bit Joffrey and was released into the woods in season one.”
Considering that this could be the last season for the remaining Starks, it was high time for Arya to meet her direwolf, whom she had let go for fear of getting murdered by the family’s enemies. Moreover, Nymeria may probably bring another golden moment for the show, with the last time of her mauling King Joffrey after the latter put a sword to her master.
