“Gears of War 5” is set to be released in September however, before that time comes, its game developer, The Coalition, will offer tech test to interested players. The test will be available for downloads on Windows and Xbox One.
Through this beta test, the game enthusiasts will get to see new features in the PvP or multiplayer gaming. There will be new maps and three multiplayer modes that include the Escalation, the King of the Hill, and the Arcade. Now, not everyone can try the test and here’s how to avail it and play the “Gears of War 5” beta version.
“At E3, we unveiled a brand new way to fight the Swarm in Gears 5: Escape. Dana Sissons, The Coalition’s director of communications, said with regards to the beta test. “We wanted to show how we’re pushing the envelope by doing new things never seen in a Gears game before, and we’re happy to provide more details on how you can be among the first to play Gears 5 and help create the future of Versus multiplayer.”
Preload schedule and how to download and play
It should be noted that the “Gears of War 5” test is starting soon and those who have access can already preload the game ahead of the start date. The preloading schedule is on Friday, July 19.
To get the “Gears of War 5” beta version, the player must have an Xbox Game Pass. Aside from the pass holders, those who will pre-order the fame will also be given a code so they can access and play the game. Players can get it from the Xbox Game Pass library while those who pre-order can download it via Microsoft.
Test dates and system requirements
Test dates for “Gears of War 5” will run in two batches. The first schedule has been set for July 19 to 22. The second round will be from July 26 to July 29, and on these two batches, all the tests will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
There are system requirements for downloading and playing the game. This means that if your system is not compatible, then it is not possible to get the “Gears of War 5.” for guidance, the full details were listed by The Coalition on its info page.
The full version of “Gears of 5” will be released on Sept.10.
