Amazon Prime Video confirmed “Gen V” Season 2 ahead of the Season 1 finale. Showrunner Michele Fazekas and “The Boys” creator Eric Kripke recently announced to that the writers' room for the second season has been reopened.
‘Gen V’ Season 2 Release Date
The official release date of “Gen V” Season 2 has yet to be confirmed, however, viewers can speculate on when it might arrive. It can be recalled that Season 1 filming began in May 2022, with the series premiering in September 2023.
If we extend that schedule and assume that “Gen V” Season 2 will begin filming in 2024, fans could see it on the big screen in 2025. However, due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes, it is unknown when the series will be able to begin filming.
‘Gen V’ Season 2 Cast
Viewers may expect most of our main characters to return, depending on what transpires in the last episodes of “Gen V” Season 2, including Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Chance Perdomo as Andre Anderson, Lizzie Broadway as Emma Shaw, Shelley Conn as Indira Shetty, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, and Derek Luh and London Thor as Jordan Li.
Patrick Schwarzenegger, who played Jason/Golden Boy, is one actor who may not return in “Gen V” Season 2. Given his heinous demise in Season 1, it appears unlikely.
‘Gen V’ Season 2 Plot
Avid followers of the show expect the series to resume following the events of Season 1, so keep an eye out for those final episodes. Fans also have at least one more season of “The Boys” under our belts by then, with Season 4 on the way, so viewers are sure there'll be some tie-ins with the main series. Perhaps fans will see a few more cameos from some well-known superheroes.
