‘Girl Meets World’ season 3’s episode 15 is set to explore Riley and Maya’s lives without each other’s friendship. Meanwhile, Rowan Blanchard revealed that they have yet to receive official confirmation for a season 4 run on Disney Channel.
The synopsis for “Girl Meets World of Terror 3” posted on Carter Matt stated, “Auggie narrates a scary Halloween story about what the world would be like if Maya and Riley had never met.” The incoming episode is set to portray Maya’s (Sabrina Carpenter) and Riley’s (Rowan Blanchard) lives without each other.
In episode 15, Auggie would narrate a spooky story in which Maya and Riley never met and made differences in each other’s lives. The two girls have always been the best of friends and it would be interesting to see the implications of how one would behave without the other.
According to International Business Times, Maya and Riley would have to contemplate not having each other as anchors. The two would have been more extreme versions of their normal selves.
Meanwhile, the show’s renewal on Disney Channel for a fourth season has yet to be announced. According to Chatt Sports Net, Blanchard admitted that they are still waiting for season 4 to be confirmed on the network.
She said, “I know as much as you do. We all are hoping for a Girl Meets World season 4 because we want to continue our story… I feel like it’s an important story to tell. But as of right now, we just completed filming season 3 and we’re still waiting on the word. But we do have more episodes coming out this year that air into early 2017, so we’re covered for a little bit.”
It was speculated that chances remain slim as the television series is struggling with a decrease in viewership.
‘Girl Meets World’ is a coming-of-age television sitcom intended as the sequel to the popular television series ‘Boy Meets World’, which aired on ABC from 1993 to 2000. It stars Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter, Ben Savage, Peyton Meyer, and Danielle Fishel.
The series created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly and is produced by Frank Pace with Jacobs executive producing. Season 3’s episode 15 is entitled “Girl Meets World of Terror 3” and is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel on October 14, 2016.
