According to merchant information, Google's upcoming Pixel 8a will introduce a new 256GB storage variant.
Pricing and Color Options Revealed for Google Pixel 8a: A Comparison with Pixel 7a and Pixel 8
The website sources indicate that the device will be available in four colors, similar to the $499 Pixel 7a, but it will be priced significantly more at €569.90, equivalent to around $618 USD.
WinFuture's sources indicate that the enhanced storage model will be priced at €630 (about $684 USD), which is somewhat below the normal Google Pixel 8's $699 MSRP. Nevertheless, as stated on the website, that information may be subject to change.
The Google Pixel 8a is expected to be available in obsidian (black), porcelain (beige), bay (light blue), and mint (light green) colors. The previous year's Pixel 7a was available in four colors and exclusively as a 128GB phone.
The main upgrade option was a 5G mmWave option that some carriers offered for an additional $50 over the base price. The post notes that only the black edition of the phone is available in a 256GB model.
Google Pixel 8a Design and Specs: A Closer Look at Its Features and Potential Camera Upgrades
According to previous leaks, the Google Pixel 8a will have a similar design to the other Pixel 8 phones, including similar curves and two back cameras like the current entry-level model in the line. According to WinFuture, the device may use an 8GB RAM and Tensor G3 CPU.
The primary distinguishing factor will probably be the size, with reports suggesting it would be a 6.1-inch phone instead of a 6.3-inch device like the Google Pixel 8, The Verge. Google surprised many by equipping the 7a with a superior main camera compared to the Pixel 7.
There is no assurance that the business will repeat the same action this year, but Google's decisions may be unpredictable. Although the phone's cameras have improved, artificial limitations prevent it from utilizing all of its capabilities.
