“Grey's Anatomy” season 15 episode 5 may be the answer to the heart-wrenching early story arcs for fans of Teddy (Kim Raver) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary). The show has already roped in Maggie into the web of Teddy's secret pregnancy with what might be Owen's baby (Kevin McKidd) but it seems that Maggie is not really in a position to hold on to Teddy's secret.
Fans may remember that Maggie is already having problems sleeping because she keeps thinking about finding someone she can talk to about Teddy's secret. To add to her problem, her recently kindled relationship with Jackson (Jesse Williams) was left hanging when the chief of plastic surgery decided to take a leave of absence prior to “Grey's Anatomy” season 15 episode 5. With Maggie currently pre-occupied with her own love life problems, it looks like Teddy will need a helping hand from someone else.
In the episode synopsis for “Grey's Anatomy” season 15 episode 5, it is mentioned that Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) will take the time and effort to reach out to Teddy herself about her issues. The summary does not reveal how Meredith will get Teddy to open up about her issues but – as a mother herself – hopefully, she can empathize with Teddy's current situation.
With Meredith taking on the burden of helping Teddy get through her current dilemmas, fans can hope that this leaves a bit more in “Grey's Anatomy” season 15 episode 5 to tackle Maggie's Jackson problem. A small update from the doctor on leave can hopefully put Maggie's mind at ease about Jackson's emotional and physical safety, which could go a long way when Jackson returns and the two of them can start talking about the future of their relationship.
Unfortunately for fans, “Grey's Anatomy” season 15 will be taking a break on Oct. 18. Fans looking forward to how Meredith can help Teddy in her dillema can catch “Grey's Anatomy” season 15 episode 5 when it airs on Oct. 25.
