“Halo Infinite” fans will have to be more patient as it appears that the game’s campaign network co-op is not scheduled to launch in full anytime soon. On a slightly brighter side, developer 343 Industries confirmed that players will be able to access the gameplay in beta starting next month.
The studio announced on Tuesday that it plans to start the first flight -- usually the franchise’s term for a beta test -- for the “Halo Infinite” campaign co-op sometime in July. Like other “Halo” flights, players will have to be registered to the Halo Insider program to get a chance to join the flight.
With #HaloInfinite campaign network co-op arriving later this year, we're planning to flight it to Halo Insiders in July. Register and make sure your Halo Insider profile is up to date for a chance to participate!

Players can sign up on this page and make sure that their profile has complete and valid information for a greater chance of getting a flight invitation. “Please ensure your Halo Insider settings are complete and accurate – including a verified email address – to improve your chances of getting invited to a flight,” 343 Industries says on the Halo Insider page.
It has been more than six months since “Halo Infinite” came out without the campaign co-op, so offering the game feature through beta might not be the most ideal. However, this could still be a good sign that developers are at least a step closer to fully launching the campaign co-op.
The developer first announced last August that “Halo Infinite” would launch without the campaign co-op and Forge mode. At the time, 343 Industries said the campaign co-op was planned to launch as part of the Season 2 update. By November, however, it was confirmed that Season 1 will run until May this year. It then became clearer that both features will remain in development longer than anticipated.
Shortly before the end of Season 1, 343 Industries had once again announced a slight change in the “Halo Infinite” campaign co-op’s launch schedule. The developer initially said it will not be available at the start of Season 2. Then, a 2022 roadmap was released in April that showed the studio is targeting a late August release date. It remains to be seen if that plan will be fulfilled with the public flight set to begin next month.
