What better way to end a season of a drama TV series than a cliffhanger right? Well, that is what the hit TV series that Netflix created did, House of Cards. Adapted from the early 1990s British series of the same name, moving the drama from London to Washington DC, the show follows the fourth-wall breaking southerner Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). A manipulative person who will do everything just so he can get what he wants. And now he might lose everything because of that.
The finale of season 3 was about Underwood's wife Claire (Robin Wright) who is going to leave in the middle of an election campaign no less – thus leaving the story on gripping cliffhanger. And now with over a month of waiting till the premiere of the next season, fans will be more than excited for what's going to happen next. So here are some spoilers.
Netflix has released a trailer for the 4th season and it would seem that things will be pretty serious when it returns. The video starts with the scene where Underwood's journalist lover Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) whom he pushed in front of a train. There are flowers in the track and then the camera is panned above showing a campaign picture of Underwood running for president with an ironic campaign message "Putting America Back on Track". It is then obstructed from view when a subway train passes by.
This could mean many things for everyone. It may be that the dirty deeds of Underwood may come back to him and undermine his plans for reelection. Could this teaser be a bit of foreshadowing that the train is crashing into the President's life?
We shall see when House of Cards Season 4 premieres on Netflix this March 4.
