IHOP, or International House of Pancakes, continues to expand its menu by adding new categories for special occasions. In this holiday season, the restaurant revealed a new food lineup to celebrate Warner Bros.'s release of its "Wonka" movie, which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 15.
The movie is led by the character Willy Wonka, a candymaker who owns a Chocolate Factory. But then, not all of IHOP's new LTO menu specials are made with chocolate. The Wonka-inspired food items are colorful and present a variety of flavors for customers to enjoy for a limited time.
Availability of New Breakfast Specials
Restaurant Business noted that the pancake house restaurant chain that specializes in American breakfast already had successful team-ups with popular movie titles such as "The Addams Family" and "Minions: The Rise of Gru" so the latest Wonka-themed options are also expected to become hit with diners.
Customers will have a chance to enjoy the new food menu at IHOP from Nov. 27 to Jan. 7, 2024 only. The Wonka-inspired breakfast will be sold at participating locations across the United States.
Special Whisical Food and Beverage Selection
IHOP's Wonka special LTO menu items include eight colorful offerings, and these are Wonka's Perfectly Purple Pancakes, Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos, Daydream Berry Biscuit, Jr. Magical Breakfast Medley, Willy's Jr. French Toast Dippers, Dreamy Lemonade, and Scrumdiddlyumptious Strawberry Hot Chocolate.
For burger lovers, the Fantastical Wonka Burger is available and can pass as lunch as it is made with 100% USDA Choice Black Angus beef topped with bacon hash browns, four cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, avocado, and drizzled with IHOP's signature sauce. The hearty ingredients are enclosed together in a brioche bun and served with a choice of any side.
"IHOP has established itself as a highly creative and collaborative theatrical partner in the family dining category, and the latest Wonka menu is the brand's most creative partnership yet," IHOP's chief marketing officer, Kieran Donahue, said in a press release. "Every good thing in this world started with a dream, and we are excited to continue serving more joy to more people every day and bringing families together for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with this innovative menu of original items, inspired by the story of Willy Wonka."
