TEMPE, Ariz., Feb. 01, 2016 -- Insight (NASDAQ:NSIT) is proud to announce its North American community outreach program — Reach. Reach focuses on bringing together Insight’s giving efforts to support organizations that provide technology-driven educational opportunities for children.
Over the last four years, more than $1 million has been raised through philanthropic efforts driven by teammates across North America.
Through one of Insight’s charitable programs (which will now fall under the Reach platform), Noble Cause, teammates have been making positive impacts within their communities since its inception in 2012. The money raised through the program has gone towards helping three charities — Boys and Girls Club of America, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Under Reach, Insight will also continue to partner with the Arizona Diamondbacks to support the Science of Baseball program, which brings science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to elementary and middle school students through a baseball-driven curriculum.
Additionally, Reach encompasses the contributions Insight makes to the United Way, a non-profit organization that operates in approximately 1,200 U.S. communities to support education, income and health.
“Reach aligns Insight’s giving efforts under one mission, across all communities in North America that we work and live in,” said Ken Lamneck, president and CEO, Insight Enterprises. “Technology opens countless doors for our youth of today. It educates, inspires and gives them the tools to develop their potential, and we are proud to play a role today for our leaders of tomorrow.”
