Latest reports on “Jack Ryan” season 3 suggest that the early development of the third installment has already started. With the cast still unconfirmed, it is the time for fans to explore the possibilities on the actors that could join the John Krasinski-led TV series, such as his “A Quiet Place” co-star and real-life wife, Emily Blunt.
‘Jack Ryan’ season 3 cast speculations: Will ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ star co-star with her husband for a TV series?
The Hollywood couple made headlines in 2018 for their critically-acclaimed movie “A Quiet Place” that Krasinski directed and co-wrote. It showed that their chemistry also clicks on-screen, making fans wonder if there is a chance for them to co-star again on other projects. However, an earlier interview of Krasinski suggests fans should not expect it happening in “Jack Ryan” season 3 or the entire span of the series for that matter.
“I'm pretty sure not,” Krasinski told Digital Spy when asked if Blunt could ever guest star in the political thriller where he plays the titular character. He explained that he and Blunt have always wanted to keep their work separate and that “A Quiet Place” was a special case since they played as a married couple in the film. “At the end of the day, I think I'm her biggest fan,” Krasinski added. “So I love not knowing much about what she's doing so that I can go see it and celebrate her.”
‘Jack Ryan’ season 3 release date: What to expect
The making of “Jack Ryan” season 3 has been confirmed for over a year now since Amazon Prime Video has once again ordered the series installment in advance. However, it appears that the work on season 3 has only started this year. THR reported last month Krasinski is developing the scripts with new showrunner Vaun Wilmott.
It obviously takes time for TV show scripts to be completed, which means it will take some more time before the filming of “Jack Ryan” season 3 could begin. This says a great deal about the season 3 release date because the first two installments took over a year to be produced. This could mean that “Jack Ryan” season 3 is very unlikely going to premiere in 2020. John Krasinski offers a very good reason for whether or not “Mary Poppins Returns” star could appear in “Jack Ryan.”
