Since Jennifer Aniston’s split from Justin Theroux, the actress has been linked to several men, including her boxing trainer, Leyon Azubuike. While rumors that they are dating were immediately debunked, the two obviously have high respect for each other when it comes to their hard work in the gym.
On Tuesday, PEOPLE published an interview with Azubuike, where he gushed over how hardworking Aniston in. “She’s very diligent. She is ready to work out hard, every single time she hits the gym,” the trainer said. “Whether it be a 45-minute session, whether it be a 2-hour session, she’s always ready to go. Incredibly consistent and hardworking, and that makes my job a little bit easier. She’s a very good, natural athlete.”
Azubuike is a known boxing trainer not only to Aniston but also to several other Hollywood stars, including Jennifer Love Hewitt and the cast members of “Straight Outta Compton,” PEOPLE reported. He also explained why boxing is one of the go-to workouts for many people, saying it is a “very interactive” kind of exercise. “And the best part about the boxing part, specifically, is that it’s infinitely progressive,” Azubuike added.
Aside from his PEOPLE interview, Azubuike previously dedicated an Instagram post for Aniston. In a lengthy caption, he praised the "Friends" alum for being “the hardest working, beautiful, vigorous, most extraordinary person.” He also encouraged his over 11,000 followers to get a copy of the InStyle magazine September 2018 issue, which has Aniston on the cover.
Before Azubuike showered Aniston with praises, the actress actually gave him the shoutout first in her InStyle magazine interview. “I have this trainer named Leyon, who I believe hung the moon,” she said. Aniston revealed that boxing, along with yoga, is the type of exercise she has continued doing for the longest time so far. Aside from physical benefits of boxing, Aniston also said that it has been a “great way to get aggression out.”
