Jennifer Aniston and Kim Kardashian are definitely some of the most recognizable names in Hollywood today. Aniston is, of course, known for her long list of TV and movie projects while Kardashian is popular for her family’s reality show, her own makeup line, and several collaborations with fashion brands.
So even though Aniston and Kardashian are some of the most followed stars in California, the two likely have different worlds. However, there is a recent rumor claiming that the “Friends” alum is becoming worried that Kardashian is getting closer to her as they seemingly start to have common friends. Radar Online alleges that Aniston does not want Kardashian being in the same circle of friends as her.
A source of the publication specified that Aniston is getting worried about Kardashian becoming close to her good friends Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney. “She’s not trying to be cruel, but is very much of the opinion that they’re not classy enough for her circle of friends, even by association,” the insider said. “She’s not impressed with their social media numbers, and she never liked their show, what she saw of it. She thinks Jimmy is really skimming from the bottom of the barrel here.”
However, Gossip Cop reported that a representative of the talk show host refuted Radar’s source’s claims. The Kardashians have been guests on Kimmel’s show but his spokesperson reportedly said Kimmel is “not socializing” with them and then called Radar’s story as “bogus.”
Aniston has been good friends with Kimmel and McNearney. The latter interviewed the actress for InStyle’s September 2018 issue where she also shared how they met. McNearney, who used to be the head writer for Kimmel’s show from 2008 to 2016, revealed that they met Aniston when she was Justin Theroux’s “new girlfriend” in 2012.
“At first I was a bit starstruck that Rachel Green was standing near my bananas,” McNearney wrote about Aniston.” “But my nerves faded as soon as she hugged me, pulled a lime off our tree for her vodka rocks, and dissected ‘The Bachelor.’ … I got authenticity and real connection. She was immediately warm, like an old friend. She’s magnetic like that.”
