Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are very happy over their recent reunion at the SAG awards. And the former couple is reportedly ready to take things to the next level.
A source told Heat magazine that Aniston and Pitt have zero regrets over their very public reunion. In fact, they are pleased with the fact that they sent a clear message that they love each other deeply.
"It has taken them both a long time to pluck up the courage to be pictured together like this and now it has happened they can take things to the next level,” the source said.
The insider went on to say that Aniston is willing to get into a relationship with Pitt again especially now that they have already ironed out all of their issues. Before their reunion, there have already been reports claiming that Aniston and Pitt have rekindled their friendship.
A source told Us Weekly that the “Friends” star is grateful or Pitt’s support, and she’s also there for him. However, the insider debunked the claims that Aniston and Pitt want to make their relationship official.
“Jennifer is not interested in Brad in a romantic sense or wanting to get back together with him. They are friends and hang out when they can and that’s all there is to it,” the source said.
Meanwhile, it took Aniston and Pitt several years before they became friends again. It was recently revealed that Aniston’s “Friends” co-star, Courteney Cox, played a pivotal role in her reunion with her ex-husband.
Cox and Pitt bumped into each other at an event, where they had the chance to talk. After exchanging pleasantries, Pitt asked about Aniston. Cox offered to give Pitt the current number of Aniston, and that’s how they started to get in touch with each other.
Since then, Pitt and Aniston have been regularly messaging with each other. But it was only a few months ago when they really became good friends.
