Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were said to have been going around strip clubs in New York City! It was said that it was the singer/actress who took the former baseball pro-player to kinky bars - but why go on such clubs?
According to TMZ, the 49-year-old “On the Floor” singer asked her fiance to accompany her to the adult bars and even if A-Rod was miles away, he happily agreed when he heard where they were going. But then again, the trip was not for leisure at all but for research.
Yes, Jennifer Lopez needs to visit the strip bars to interview strip dancers. The research is in connection with her role in the new film called “Hustlers.” As suggested already, she will be a stripper in the story thus she is gathering facts and ideas to properly act out her character.
Speaking on The Breakfast Club via TMZ, Alex Rodriguez recounted the day she received a call from his fiancee. "I was out in L.A. and she's in New York then she goes 'Baby, I'm going to the strip club.' I said: 'Whoa! I'll be there on Thursday and we can go Thursday and Friday.”
The 43-year-old sportsman also relayed how dedicated Jennifer was to her work as an actress. "It was just great. I mean, the fact that no matter what job she's doing, she actually just converts into that person,” A-Rod said. “And she needed to - I mean, she read and read and read but I told her 'Baby, stop reading - just ask me, I got the info.’”
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez spent thousands of dollars for this research trip but judging on how A-Rod had a great time too, then it was all worth it. Meanwhile, the couple got engaged a few months ago but currently, they have no plans about their wedding yet. The engagement took place in the Bahamas and it was well-documented event and posted on social media.
