In October 2018, Jungkook suffered a leg injury that got him and the BTS ARMY heavily emotional. Now, it seems that tears may be flowing yet again as the trailer for the group’s “Love Yourself: Europe” DVD concert has now been released, Elite Daily reported.
While the clip featured several electrifying moments from the South Korean band, it also showed Jungkook crying at some point due to him getting sidelined after injuring his foot. It can be recalled that BTS’ youngest member sustained his injury as he tried to warm up for the upcoming performance.
Following the mishap, Jungkook expressed his disappointment that he couldn’t perform with the group and blamed himself for being careless. Big Hit Entertainment also issued an announcement to fans attending the concert and said that while Jungkook will be on stage, he will not be dancing with the rest of BTS.
For their part, ARMY was quite supportive of the young star, thanking Big Hit for prioritizing the health of the 21-year-old. So it wasn’t surprising that fans were quite emotional when they saw Jungkook crying on stage during last year’s performance.
“I suddenly felt so sad so I burst into tears. Even at that moment, I was embarrassed about myself because even if I’m hurt or upset, no matter what happened to me, I shouldn’t have shown it on stage. But I could not control my feelings,” Jungkook said.
The pop sensation appeared to have been too hard on himself as he felt he was compromising their concert. But everything turned out well as the London performance seems to have been quite the hit. And then some. Fast forward months later and ARMY will see the full behind-the-scenes of the concert, with Jungkook’s emotional journey among the events that will be featured. The DVD has been slated to drop on May 15. Meanwhile, fans of BTS can watch the trailer below.
