Kate Middleton is reportedly pregnant with her and Prince William’s fourth child.
The royal couple wanted to initially keep the Duchess of Cambridge’s pregnancy a secret following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell exit. But they finally received a green light from the palace to share the news with the entire world.
A source told New Idea that the future king and queen couldn’t be more excited to meet their fourth child. And Middleton is especially thrilled over the fact that she’s pregnant with a baby girl.
“Kate’s hinted it’s a girl, after revealing how Charlotte’s been longing for a baby sister and has already been excitedly helping to decorate the new nursery. William slipped that he couldn’t wait to meet their ‘new little princess,’” the source said.
The insider went on to say that the clothes that Middleton recently wore hold some clues about her fourth pregnancy. Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, the Duchess of Cambridge’s stylist, purposely dressed her in a loose-fitting coat in an attempt to show off her growing baby bump.
Even Middleton’s attire when she visited a children’s hospital in London reportedly showed off her small baby bump. And before the BAFTA, Middleton’s recycled Alexander McQueen dress was also refitted to accommodate her growing baby bump.
“Virginia was given strict guidelines to ensure Kate’s pregnancy was visible to the world despite still being in the relatively early stages – putting her in a gown that shows off her happy news and also ensuring that her frock was a show-stopper,” the source said.
However, Gossip Cop recently claimed that the rumors about Middleton’s pregnancy aren’t true. After all, Prince William’s wife has been rumored to be pregnant for months. This means that if the rumors were true, she should have already given birth to her fourth child.
As early as two years ago, In Touch Weekly claimed that Middleton and Meghan Markle were pregnant at the same time. Months later, Star also sparked rumors that Middleton’s pregnancy is unhealthy because she’s allegedly only 96 pounds.
During a recent engagement, Middleton also debunked the ongoing pregnancy speculations. She said that Prince William no longer wants to have a fourth child.
