Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are said to be in the process of adopting a daughter. Based on the report, the child is from a poverty-stricken family living in New Orleans.
As reported by Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are both in New Orleans to film their respective movie projects. While there, the couple was said to have been motivated to adopt a young girl.
“There have been a lot of official-looking visits to Katie’s trailer when Jamie’s around and everyone’s thinking it could be lawyers assisting them with adoption papers,” the tipster told WD.
It was suggested that the adoption might have stemmed from Jamie Foxx wanting to have his own biological child, however, Katie Holmes think that due to her age, her pregnancy days are already over. In the end, the actress just convinced her beau to adopt since there are so many kids in New Orleans who need homes.
The source revealed that Katie Holmes got a positive reaction from Jamie Foxx. “As soon as she suggested it, Jamie was all for it. He loves how kind and selfless Katie is, but this idea just blew him away.”
After the talk on adoption, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx reportedly spent a lot of time in New Orleans and continue discussing their dream of having their child. However, Gossip Cop reported that it contacted someone who is close to the “Django Unchained” actor and it learned that the adoption rumor is false.
Tom Cruise’s ex and her boyfriend are said to have no plans of adopting a child. Gossip Cop went on to state that this is not the first time that Woman’s Day reported a false story about Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes thus it is no wonder that this report is untrue as well.
Meanwhile, while it is not true that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are trying to adopt a New Orleans kid, there were reports that the couple is actually already living in together in the said state. The actress has been spotted not once but many times already, coming in and out of a home that she is supposedly sharing with Foxx.
