Long-time rumored couple Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have now reportedly called it quits. Various incidents have been repeated in the past few weeks that adds weight to the rumors that they have really broken up. And about a week ago, the singer-actor was spotted having dinner with a woman who has clearly not the “Dawson’s Creek” alum.
Fox News shared a photo of Foxx with the so-called mystery woman. They both exited the Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills and shared a hug before leaving the place. While there is a possibility that it was just an innocent, friendly embrace, it would be difficult for fans not to link this recent photos to the rumors that he and Holmes are no longer together.
Breakup rumors between Holmes and Foxx started when an insider told Us Weekly that the latter did not hesitate to refer to himself as being “single” during an Oscars charity event. Foxx reportedly left the said party with “The Orville” series regular Jessica Szohr and allegedly spent more time together at another event.
This is not the first time that Foxx and Holmes were hit with breakup rumors, but there is one glaring difference this time. In 2018, Radar Online ran a story claiming that the actress ended their relationship because of “trust issues.” Not long after it gained attention, Holmes’ spokesperson Leslie Sloane went on record to deny the report. “The Radar story is 100 percent untrue,” Sloane told PEOPLE. This time, however, Holmes or Foxx has yet to shut down the rumors. They are also yet to be seen together since the breakup reports came out.
Meanwhile, fans might not want to expect an official statement anytime soon. Holmes and Foxx have been rumored dating since, but it was only confirmed when they were photographed together in 2017. Even after that, the Hollywood stars were still adamant to keep the details of their relationship away from the public eye.
