‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13’s episode 2, titled “Paris,” is set to address Kim’s robbery during her trip for the Paris Fashion Week. Kim is set to open up about the traumatic events from her ordeal, where she was held at gunpoint.
The synopsis for episode 2 posted on TV Guide reads, “Kourtney is eager to experience Paris Fashion Week with Kim and see Kendall walk the runway for the first time, but their trip to the city of love takes a dark turn when Kim is robbed at gunpoint.”
It seems that the hit reality television show will shift its focus from Khloe’s developing relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson to Kim and her traumatic experience during one of their trips from last year.
The sneak peak for “Paris” posted on All Hiphop opens to Kim recalling her experience during her robbery at the Paris Fashion Week last October 3, 2016. Kim says, “They asked for money, I said I don’t have any money. They dragged me out to the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun. Like clear as day.”
The 36-year old socialite, model, and businesswoman looks clearly disturbed as she remembers the events of that fateful day. She continues, “I was kind of looking at the gun. Looking down back at the stairs. And I was like… I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision like, am I gonna run down the stairs? And like be either shot in the back? Like it makes me so upset to think about it.”
Kim then begins to tear up while her sisters Kourtney and Khloe listen intently to Kim’s conundrum. The upcoming episode is set to be an emotional one for the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
According to Billboard, Kim was bound and robbed of $11 million worth of jewelry after the thieves demanded for cash and eventually turned physical. It was reported that 17 suspects have since been arrested in connection with the crime.
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13’s episode 2, titled “Paris,” is scheduled to air on E! on March 19, 2017. It will be followed by episode 3, titled "The Aftermath," scheduled to be released on March 26.
