It’s only five more months before “Kingdom Hearts 3” finally gets released and fans are already in a frenzy to get their hands on the game and experience the third installment. The series has always been a beloved franchise of gamers all over the world.
And since “Kingdom Hearts 3” has been in development for many years now, the hype surrounding it is understandable given there were a lot of movies that have come out in that span of time. The worlds that have been incorporated into the game are not only vast but also feature a verticality that is new to the franchise.
Sora, the main protagonist of the game, will be able to scale walls and obstructions in order to find hidden chests, items, and rare collectibles that will reward players if completed. He will also have different weapons in “Kingdom Hearts 3” in the form of his Keyblade, which can be transformed when a certain requirement is reached.
Also, the developers are opting to keep the bosses of each world hidden as they don’t want to spoil the reveal for fans of the franchise. Speaking to IGN, community manager Sunil Godhania gave a bit of sneak peek at “Kingdom Hearts 3” and how it’s going to look when it’s released.
So far, everything looks incredible. From the graphics, gameplay, and vast worlds, “Kingdom Hearts 3” is likely going to pull in a lot of revenue for Square Enix. There are just so many playstyles players can choose from like the Keyblade transformation mentioned earlier, as well as the ability of Sora to summon other characters like Wreck-It Ralph in order to defeat enemies.
While Godhania did say they’re trying to keep world bosses a secret, he hinted that the big baddie in the “Toy Story” arc will be wearing black. One notable character that comes to mind is Zurg, a recurring villain in the franchise, although he has yet to headline as the main antagonist in the movies. Still, it’s safe to say that Zurg will make an appearance in “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
Barring any delay, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is slated for release on Jan. 29, 2019. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
