Kraft Heinz introduces the groundbreaking 360CRISP pouch, revolutionizing microwaveable meals with crispy results. This innovative technology, debuting with LUNCHABLES Grilled Cheesies, celebrates 35 years in the frozen sector, promising swift, quality snacking. Coming soon to U.S. retailers at $4.99.
Kraft Heinz’s 360CRISP pouch was designed for microwave use, and it yields food that looks like they were cooked in an oven or stove. This means that food in the microwave may also achieve a crispy texture.
Moreover, with Kraft Heinz’s first-ever innovation, the food is ready in seconds. In connection with the rollout of its pouch, the food manufacturer is releasing LUNCHABLES Grilled Cheesies packed in the cutting-edge microwave pouch.
As per Food Dive, the company developed the 360Crisp in less than a year. The company will also use the pouch for other products under four of its iconic brands, which will be launched by the end of next year.
As mentioned, the first product is the Lunchables Grilled Cheesies, and its release this month will also mark Kraft Heinz’s 35th year of being present in the frozen category. At any rate, the 360Crisp technology uses materials with venting and heat points to ensure the food is cooked thoroughly. This system is also responsible for the crispy outcome.
“The launch of 360CRISP is a clear proof point in our mission to reinvent the frozen category by providing high-quality, delicious, and convenient solutions for snack-time and beyond,” Kraft Heinz’s vice president head of disruption, Alan Kleinerman, said in a press release. “At Kraft Heinz, we’re sitting at the intersection of food and technology – building consumer-first innovations that revolutionize the meal table and importantly, drive real value for families around the world. 360CRISP is just the beginning.”
The LUNCHABLES Grilled Cheesies are set to hit select grocery stores and retailers across the United States this month. Shoppers may get them for a suggested retail price of $4.99 per box containing two sandwiches. The available flavors are Original and Pepperoni Pizza.
