Krispy Kreme is sweetening Election Day with free Original Glazed doughnuts and “I Voted” stickers at participating U.S. locations on November 5. This “doughmocracy” celebration encourages voter participation nationwide, offering a tasty treat for all regardless of candidate choice.
One-Day-Only: Grab a Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut and ‘I Voted’ Sticker on Election Day
Krispy Kreme is not just offering free doughnuts; it's introducing a unique concept of "doughmocracy" for the 2024 presidential election. This innovative approach to engaging with the democratic process is happening at participating U.S. locations, and we're excited to share it with you.
On November 5, voters will have the chance to receive one free Original Glazed Doughnut, with no strings attached. No purchase is necessary, regardless of their presidential pick—whether it’s Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump. This offer is a one-day-only event, so visit your nearest Krispy Kreme location to claim your free doughnut. Additionally, Krispy Kreme will hand out “I Voted” stickers at physical locations while supplies last, allowing even early voters to pick up a fresh sticker along with their treat. Each guest is limited to one free doughnut.
“Participating in our democracy should be celebrated! So, we’re happy to sweeten everyone’s day with free Original Glazed doughnuts on Election Day,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, in a statement.
Krispy Kreme Brings Free Election Day Doughnuts Nationwide, Plus Special Halloween Treats
Krispy Kreme’s gesture is not limited to a few locations. It's a nationwide celebration of our democracy across 47 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands this Election Day. However, Alabama, Mississippi, and New Hampshire do not offer early in-person voting options.
For those looking for a quick treat, Krispy Kreme has a special offer for Halloween. We will give away a free Original Glazed Doughnut to customers in costume, with no purchase necessary. It's a fun way to celebrate the spooky season with us.
Other chains offering Halloween specials include Baskin-Robbins, with 31% off scoops ordered on the app, Burger King’s Addams Family menu (available through November 10ember), and Chipotle’s $6 “Boorito” deal. Similar deals can also be found at Pizza Hut, Raising Cane’s, Sonic, and Wendy’s while supplies last.
