World Chocolate Day is one of the most delectable summer holidays, and it is scheduled for July 7. In honor of the sweetness of the occasion, Krispy Kreme is reintroducing one of its most beloved and uncommon doughnut varieties. According to ComicBook, in celebration of World Chocolate Day, Krispy Kreme has recently announced that the Chocolate Glazed Doughnut will be available exclusively from July 6 to July 7. The Chocolate Glazed will be available only this year, according to the brand.
Krispy Kreme initially introduced the Chocolate Glazed in 2017 to commemorate the total solar eclipse of that year. It rapidly gained popularity. This weekend is the perfect opportunity for lovers of the favorite to acquire the treat, as it was previously available on six continents in 2018 for World Chocolate Day. However, it has yet to be reintroduced since then.
"There's nothing like our Chocolate-Glazed doughnut; it's a rare and special treat," said Dave Skena, Global Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme. “From watching the chocolate glaze waterfall to the aroma of chocolate taking over shops to the taste of our fresh doughnuts bathed in chocolate glaze, there's no better way to celebrate World Chocolate Day."
Krispy Kreme Offers Limited-Time Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts and Discounts for World Chocolate Day
Fans who wish to obtain the Chocolate Glazed must visit participating Krispy Kreme locations in the United States from July 6 to July 7. The delicacy is accessible for pickup or delivery through Krispy Kreme's website, app, and in-store. Krispy Kreme also provides a 50% discount on a dozen of the chocolate-glazed doughnuts, with the purchase of any dozen at the regular price, in addition to the brief return of the chocolate-glazed doughnut.
The Chocolate-Glazed doughnut is Krispy Kreme's most recent special offering. The Dolly Parton Southern Sweets Collection, a limited-edition doughnut collection released earlier this year, was a collaboration between the brand and Dolly Parton. The collection included four all-new doughnuts to offer "a little something sweet for everyone." Krispy Kreme previously collaborated with Pokémon in South Korea to create the charming Krispy Kreme x Pokémon campaign, which featured doughnuts that resembled the beloved Pokémon.
