Kristen Stewart is one of the busiest stars today and she can attribute her success to the worldwide hit vampire-themed “Twilight” saga. In the movie based on Stephenie Meyer’s book series, there is no doubt that Robert Pattinson’s ex earned a lot with just the five “Twilight” films since all of them were certified blockbusters, but could she be earning more today than before?
In 2012, Stewart appeared on Forbes in its list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. At that time, the actress was said to have been paid around $12.5 million per film and this is on top of the share of profits. At only 22, she was the youngest woman to appear in the list at that time.
Now, since it has been almost seven years since the “Twilight” saga has ended, has Kristen Stewart’s earnings dwindle or it just continued to rise? It should be noted that after gaining worldwide popularity for her character as Bella, Kristen Stewart’s movie career flourished and as times pass by, was cast in many mainstream projects that added more millions to her bank account.
Earning over $25 million in her five “Twilight” films, Stewart tried acting in Indie films like “Still Alice,” “Clouds of Sils Maria,” “Personal Shopper” and her latest project, “JT LeRoy.” these did not give the actress big paychecks but her acting has been honed and besides, she could afford to be paid little as she already has a big account.
Then again, she also has big projects that gave her millions. Currently, her film “Charlie’s Angels” is set to be released in November. In this project, she is said to have received $7 million which is just $1 million less than the asking price of Ben Affleck for movies, as per Variety. Thus, in conclusion, Kristen Stewart is earning more compared to her days in “Twilight.”
