Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been in a relationship from 2008 to 2013. Their five-year romance sadly ended when she was caught cheating with “Snowhite and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders.
Despite the gravity of her offense, they still tried to work it out and reconciled, but this only lasted for a while, and they split up for good. Their breakup was indeed controversial and Stewart also publicly apologized to Pattinson after saying that she truly loves him.
After a while, Kristen Stewart turned out to be gay and started a string of relationships with women she worked with or met. She just broke up with Stella Maxwell for the second time and recently revealed to have a new love in the person of Dylan Meyers, a screenwriter. On the other hand, Rober Pattinson has been dating Suki Waterhouse for more than a year now, and they are going strong.
KStew’s newest interview discusses RPatz
Even if Stewart and Pattinson broke up a long time ago, fans still want them to reunite. Their names are still linked to each other proving that people still want them to be a “couple.” It has been six years since they officially called it quits, and she is more comfortable talking about her relationship with her ex and “Twilight” co-star.
Speaking with UK’s Harper's Bazaar, Kristen Stewart shared that she and Robert Pattinson have been secretive about their romance when they were still dating because they want most of the aspects of their relationship to stay just between the two of them. She said that those moments and details are theirs and not the public’s and they want to keep it that way.
"When me and Rob were together, we did not have an example to go by of how much to share versus keep private," she told the magazine. "So much was taken from us that, in trying to control one aspect, we were just like, 'No, we will never talk about it. Never. Because it’s ours.'"
Robert shares thoughts on his “Batman” role
In any case, while KStew already finished filming “Charlie’s Angels,” Robert Pattinson has yet to film “Batman.” Having the role was nerve-wracking for the actor as there were lots of good competitors for the role and admitted that he was really thrilled when it was finally announced that he was chosen to be the next Bruce Wayne.
He shared that he watched “Batman” while growing up so having the role is an honor. “When I was a kid, it was the only outfit that I had,” he told Variety. “If I successfully play the character, I can say it at the end.”
Matt Reeves’ “Batman” is set to premiere on June 2021.
