Lee Min Ho is slated to end his mandatory military service on April 25. As such, fans of the Korean actor are now asking what project he’s going to take now that he’s got all the time in the world.
Unsurprisingly, the most requested show that fans have been asking is the making of “The Heirs 2.” Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye starred in the hit Korean drama that told the story of two souls who met in America, got separated, only to meet yet again in an exclusive high school in South Korea.
So how likely is it that this rumor transitions to reality? While Lee Min Ho hasn’t announced anything just yet, Park Shin Hye has already denied that she’s going to work with the actor in the sequel of “The Heirs,” Business Times reported.
If the actress is out, then it’s unlikely that the sequel will take place given that the chemistry of the pair stars was one of the major strengths of the series. Of course, Park Shin Hye’s stance isn’t immune to change and Lee Min Ho could still convince her if he wanted to.
Another project that the “City Hunter” star could tackle is the sequel of “Legend of the Blue Sea.” The series provided impressive viewer count for SBS and the network could bank in on Lee Min Ho’s return to receive yet another rating boost. The fantasy drama had quite the fairytale ending and hinted that a baby was on the way for the on=screen couple.
If the sequel does happen, the story could focus on the child of Heo Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho) and Shim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun). Of course, since nothing has been announced just yet, it’s best to have low expectations for now.
Fortunately, there are only three days before Lee Min Ho’s military service comes to a close. Fans who have been eagerly waiting for the heartthrob’s career should keep their ears on the ground as it’s expected that the actor will soon be breaking his silence about what path he’s going to take moving forward.
