Litcoin Association creates official Litecoin Branding Guide

Confronted with a lack of merchant adoption, the Litecoin Association has decided to rebrand litecoin and develop an official Litecoin Branding Guide. The main idea is to formulate a clear, concise, and effective method of spreading Litecoin awareness.

The guide will focus on various areas, one of them being Litecoin's logo. Over the years, official LTC logo has seen much iteration with diverse colors and fonts being used by fanatics. Nevertheless, in an attempt to strengthen the brand, a standardized Litecoin logo will be adopted by the Association.

Moreover, the Association is also putting efforts to standardize other images that represent Litecoin. For instance, official color usage guidelines are being applied to the "Litecoin Accepted Here" graphics. Further, an official Litecoin paper wallet design has been presented, which will be put into action at liteaddress.org.

Although not obligatory, all websites hosting the Litecoin logo, including news site, exchange, wallet service, mining pool or hobby website, are strongly encouraged to follow these new branding guidelines.
