“Love Island 2019” is a show where singles come to Majorca Island to look for love. Season 5 of the show started in May, and as of today, there are seven remaining couples, but the number may still expand as there are still islanders who are joining the show.
While the concept of the “Love Island 2019” is for the single men and women to find someone they could love, one body language expert reveals that the couples are not being genuine. According to Mirror, Judi James see some couples who are only putting on a show to gain votes rather than really falling for each other.
“Some of them claim to have fallen in love even before they’ve had time to learn their partner’s names while others seem to be clinging together for survival despite pretty obvious signs that their cobbled-up relationships just aren’t actually working," James said.
Based on the current pairings in “Love Island 2019” that include Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, Joe Garrat and Lucie Donlan, Anton Danyluk and Elma Pazar, Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart, Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill, Danny Williams and Yewande Biala, Tom Walker and Maura Higgins and Jordan Hames and Anna Vakili, a body language expert thinks that only Joe and Lucie are showing a convincing display of romance.
James said that the couple uses eye contact, they touch and stroke one another in a very natural way, so she believes that what they have is not fake or something just for the show. But unfortunately, the previous episode saw Joe being sent home after he and Lucie were voted off by the couples. When the members of the audience were allowed to save one of the partners, they picked the latter.
Lucie was devastated with the results and told everyone that it is very obvious that she and Joe Joe have feelings for each other. With his exit, she said that she is not sure how she will proceed with “Love Island 2019” because Joe, who has been her “rock” the entire time, is not there anymore.
