McCormick has introduced a new job position, and it is called the “Director of Taco Relations. This is the first time that this kind of work was added to the company, so whoever will be hired will be its very first employee for the post.
The unique gig that pays so well
McCormick is a company that is known for its spices and seasonings, and it is set to hire its taco relations director. This job was said to have been specifically designed for someone who wants to get paid by eating Mexican food. Of course, this person must love eating this type of authentic fare so he can do a good job in what he will do.
According to Fox Business, the new job position at McCormick calls for someone with a deep appreciation for all things tacos. In fact, as part of the application process, the applicants are asked to share their best prerequisites related to food, like skills in developing recipes and more.
The person who will get the job will also participate in taste tests events and may be consulted for inspiration for new taco recipes. It was mentioned that he or she will also be attending “taco immersion and eating sessions.”
Simply put, the new McCormick’s director of Taco Relations will be assisting with the development of new taco seasonings. He must also be updated on taco food trends on social media so they can design content for big events such as National Margarita Day and National Taco Day.
“While taco trends continue to change and evolve, our seasoning has remained the first choice for countless families across the country,” Jill Pratt, McCormick chief marketing officer, said in a press release. “In fact, over the past year, we have seen our taco seasoning fly off grocery store shelves, at a rate of over 200 packets a minute and McCormick's Director of Taco Relations will ultimately honor and support the millions of Americans that rely on our taco seasoning everyday while keeping McCormick at the forefront of the tacos of tomorrow."
What the new recruit will get as the taco relations director
The best thing about the job is that aside from the food perks, McCormick is offering $100,000 as salary. This will be paid out in the span of four months so it is $25,000 per month. The work is up to 20 hours a week and is only designed to last for the said duration.
Finally, while this is just a temporary position, thousands would flock to McCormick to apply for sure. No one can pass up this handsome salary so the company may soon be inundated with applicants from all over the nation.
