IOWA CITY, Iowa, Oct. 16, 2017 -- Iowa City optometrist McDonald Optical is pleased to announce that they will be moving their Sycamore location to a new, fully renovated space. For over six decades, McDonald Optical has been the premier optical center in Iowa City and the surrounding communities. McDonald Optical is a family business that has been owned and operated by the McDonald family since 1956. It was founded by Alfred McDonald and continued by his sons John and Don.

The Iowa City optometrist provides a complete range of eye care services, including exams, contact lens fittings, diagnostics, eye disease management and specialized treatments. They also offer eye surgery, LASIK referrals, LASIK pre- and post-care, hard-to-fit contact lenses, vision therapy, sports vision assistance, and premier glasses frames, lenses and sunglasses. They can assist the entire family with their vision needs, from infants to senior citizens.
Reid McDonald, Owner of McDonald Optical says, “We are extremely excited about the Grand Re-Opening of our Sycamore Street McDonald Optical location. The space is more modern and fully outfitted with the very latest in state-of-the-art optometry equipment.”
