The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are happily expecting their first child. But the negative rumors do not stop to hound them.
Shortly after Kensington Palace confirmed Markle’s pregnancy, a source claiming to be a close friend of Markle told DailyMailTV the “Suits” alum compelled her first husband to sign a “pregnancy contract.” Her royal highness was married to Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013 before tying the knot with Prince Harry last May.
Markle reportedly wanted to make sure she stayed in shape during and after pregnancy had she gotten pregnant with Engelson’s child. However, the said contract was described as “informal” and did not involve any legal counsel.
“[Meghan Markle] demanded a personal trainer and nutritionist during and after the pregnancy,” said the insider. “I'm sure a nanny was discussed too, but the main focus for her was on health and weight.”
Kensington Palace is yet to respond to The Daily Mail’s request for comment. However, these kinds of rumors do not seem like the type that the royal family would pay attention to.
Earlier in October, Markle and Prince Harry flew to Australia to for a state visit that would run for about half a month. The news of her pregnancy was confirmed while they were away from London.
Meghan Markle continues to impress fans, especially with her grace and fashion choices. However, she was recently criticized for her habit of putting her hands in her pockets. An expert suggested the gesture showed a “subliminal desire to hide.”
On the other hand, dresses with pockets are currently a fashion trend. So it is also possible that Markle just wants to maximize this part of clothing that is often taken for granted.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were in New Zealand on Tuesday when the country experienced a 6.2-magnitude earthquake. The natural phenomenon was felt by members of the Parliament but PEOPLE noted that it did not seem to interrupt the royal couple’s meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in Auckland.
