Reports about Meghan Markle are numerous and plenty, and among the latest include her supposed closeness to the father of her husband, Prince Charles. The royal father-in-law is rumored to have built a rather special bond with the newest member of the royal family. On that note, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now on an Australian tour, which is worth covering.
The latest rumor with regards to Meghan Markle and Prince Charles came via Vanity Fair and reiterated by Express. Apparently, this claim is thanks to a family member who chose to spoke anonymously about the subject, saying that Prince Harry’s father supposedly has a “lovely relationship with the duchess.”
“The wedding was a real turning point,” the family member is quoted as saying. “Charles showed so much love towards Harry and Meghan, and I think Harry will be eternally grateful to his papa for stepping in and giving Meghan’s hand in marriage. The bond between them is very close.”
Now, none of this could be corroborated, although there have been several photos of Meghan Markle absolutely charming various members of the royal family. She even has a picture of her and Queen Elizabeth herself, and the two could not have looked closer.
As such, it would be no surprise that Meghan Markle’s trademark charm could prove irresistible to Prince Charles. She even brought this approachability with her as she and Prince Harry did their Australian tour.
The most recent royal couple will be traveling through Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga for a previously undisclosed period of time and duration, Metro reports. However, a few things about the itinerary of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been revealed, which shed some light on this matter.
For example, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are scheduled to have their first day of the tour in Australia on Oct. 16. This tour involving Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will begin in Sydney and eventually end in Rotorua, New Zealand by Oct. 31.
