Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could reportedly capitalize on their recent decision to quit the royal family.
While speaking with ITV News, royal expert Chris Ship predicted the possibility of the Duchess of Sussex releasing a tell-all book that she will write herself. The expert also said that the “Suits” alum could do one big interview.
“If they want to achieve all the things they want to achieve, and I will come to that shortly, they need to capitalize on their current high profile. Right now, it couldn't be any higher. Here is an American woman, who in the space of fewer than two years, joined the Royal Family and then decided she wanted to leave it. That creates a huge amount of interest in this individual. Meghan could decide to tell all, to write a book, to do a big interview,” he said.
On Friday, Prince Harry’s wife visited a diverse school in Dagenham for her final solo engagement. According to Ship, the visit seemed to suggest where Markle will channel her energies next.
“[Meghan and Harry] will now want to channel her energies into a demographic the Royal Family don’t always reach, the young and ethnically diverse. Think of what Meghan did at that school in Dagenham last weekend of International Women's Day. A diverse school in which she wanted pupils to believe that their background, their gender, their ethnicity was no barrier to achieving their goals,” Ship explained.
Ship also said that Markle will most likely follow in the footsteps of former First Lady Michelle Obama even though the latter has not been advising the former Hollywood star about her future endeavors.
In 2009, Barack Obama’s wife visited an all-girls school in London and gave an inspirational speech. On Friday, Markle decided to visit the diverse school to commemorate International Women’s Day. Immediately after, Markle and Prince Harry flew back to Canada to be with their son, Archie.
