For the past few years since entering the White House, First Lady Melania Trump is known for being a mysterious and very private person. A voice expert revealed that the First Lady is struggling to let her personality show through ever since she entered the White House.
Express reports that voice expert James Bryce, founder, and CEO of communications analytics company Gweek, shared that Melania may have struggled with showing her true personality. Analyzing the speeches before becoming the First Lady, Bryce described Melania as someone who is confident, eloquent, and competent, but was only reading her speeches off a teleprompter.
There was some change after she became First Lady, but only a little, according to Bryce. The voice expert then said that Melania has “persisted with a rehearsed and scripted approach.” Even though this method helps Melania speak more confidently, Bryce said that it has its downsides as Melania would rely on pre-prepared scripts, thus keeping her from being able to show her personality. Bryce revealed that the audience will only be able to get a hint of her personality, but not entirely.
It is likely that the First Lady opts to go for this approach so as to prevent any mistakes as she speaks in public, something that she has done more often since taking on the role of First Lady. Bryce then recommended that Melania should practice or train herself to be able to face high-pressure situations. “It would be interesting to see how she fares without a script or teleprompter for support,” said Bryce.
The First Lady as of late has tried to become a more visible presence throughout the pandemic. The previous weekend marked Mother’s Day and Melania took to social media with a video addressing her fellow moms in America and wishing them a Happy Mother’s Day. Recorded at the White House, Melania praised and showed her appreciation to her fellow moms and asked the public to take some time and show their appreciation for their mothers or mother figures.
The First Lady celebrated Mother’s Day at the White House with her husband, President Donald Trump, and their son, Barron Trump.
