Melania Trump was recently mocked after she announced that she will be speaking at the National #PTALegCon this week.
On Twitter, the FLOTUS expressed her excitement to discuss the importance of empowering families and communities to advocate for issues that impact the nation’s youth. At the end of her post, Donald Trump’s wife included a hashtag to promote her Be Best initiative.
Unfortunately, not everyone is excited to hear the first lady talk about the importance of empowering families and communities. In fact, the majority of her critics slammed her by calling her a hypocrite.
Other netizens also slammed the FLOTUS due to her involvement in the recent renovation of the tennis courts at the White House. Last week, the first lady was criticized for still continuing with the renovations when the entire world is panicking over the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
“Like healthcare, environmental catastrophe, and education? Or are those topics off-limits for you?” Twitter user @JasonCT said.
“I hope your tennis courts are okay? #BeSilent #bebestmyass,” Twitter user @ChildNwatu said.
“Child advocacy? HYPOCRITE!” Twitter user @public_rex said.
The same Twitter user uploaded a drawing of Melania wearing her controversial “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket. In the animation, the FLOTUS is standing beside the POTUS, who is wearing a black coat with the words “Not even a little” on it.
“In my area, my PTA’s are usually found in public schools, when PTO’s are used at our character schools and private schools. This is interesting to me that you would speak at a nonprofit conference to an organization trying to save public schools while your husband destroys them,” Twitter user @inminivanhell said.
“Shake lots and lots of hands while you are there. Show love. Lots and lots of hands. Your daddy said it’s okay,” Twitter user @cinders23 said.
“Lots of hugs and kisses on your cheeks, too. It’s your duty as FLOTUS,” Twitter user @phlynk said.
