Melania Trump recently encouraged Americans to connect with their families and loved ones amid the coronavirus outbreak.
This week, Donald Trump urged everyone to stay at home while healthcare specialists and officials to prevent the further spread of the deadly virus. The POTUS also claimed that social distancing is one of the things that could help prevent the deaths caused by coronavirus across the globe.
The FLOTUS, who has been awfully quiet, posted a series of tweets on Tuesday and her millions of followers seemed surprised to hear from her. She initially announced the cancelation of the annual Easter Egg Roll event at the White House next month.
“Consider taking advantage of time working from home to connect with your loved ones via email or FaceTime. Spend time with family or work on your well-being by reading a book or spending time on a hobby,” she tweeted.
According to Political Flare journalist Andrea Jefferson, everyone has been asking where Melania is amid the coronavirus outbreak. After sharing an update regarding the tennis pavilion at the White House, she went silent on Twitter.
“Let’s be honest, Melania’s heart was never in this to begin with. I am fairly certain her office does all the work, and she gets all the credit. Melania has proven time and time again she is simply not interested in doing the work required to be a proper First Lady,” she said.
Meanwhile, the FLOTUS received a slew of different reactions on Twitter after tweeting about spending time with family amid the pandemic.
“This is how out of touch mail order FLOTUS is. She thinks this would be a vacation for families worrying about their health, their bills, their jobs, their loved ones. Must be nice to be privileged enough to build a tennis court with taxpayers’ money during a pandemic,” Twitter user @Daniell3716665 said.
“Melania Trump did not write this. In fact, she writes none of her tweets,” Twitter user @putmygamefaceon said.
“Love you, FLOTUS! God bless you and POTUS,” Twitter user @ladypatriot54 said.
“I love you and your husband but not all of us have the option to work from home,” Twitter user @Eliguis1776 said.
