Melania Trump is being accused of casting someone to fill in for her in events like visits to states. The FLOTUS is said to be using a body double so it will appear that she is present on occasions that she should attend.
With the rumors, the hashtag #FakeMelania has been trending on social media and based on the people’s comments, it appears that many people believe that a fake Melania Trump exists. This is not the first time that the first lady was rumored to have hired someone to pretend as the FLOTUS and these days, the story has escalated since they were not addressed.
According to The Sun, the allegations of the fake Melania Trump have been going around for months and it reemerged again when she was pictured with Donald Trump during a visit to Alabama. The #FakeMelania conspiracy theory is alive again after people pointed out that it was not Melania in the photos with the POTUS.
Some people even enlarged the snaps to prove their claims that the woman in the photo is not Melania Trump but her body double. One of the comments on Twitter reads: “Unless Melania has shrunk by about 6 inches and grown jowels overnight, this ain’t her.”
Another one wrote: “The recasting of Melania is the worst I’ve seen since they recast Aunt Viv in Fresh Prince #fakemelania” and "This woman is walking and waving without Melania's signature stiffness.”

In any case, the suspicion that Melania Trump sends someone in her place to make official appearances with Donald Trump first surfaced in 2017. Since then, more instances of the body double thing have been observed.
The White House stated that the #FakeMelania conspiracy theory is plain ridiculous and the stories were baseless. Meanwhile, the Hollywood Life reported that after the Melania Trump’s fake rumors exploded on social media, the FLOTUS was spotted with her family inside the first family’s official residence.
