Fans of Microsoft’s Lumia smartphone line need not to wait for the release of its new flagship model. Winbeta.org confirmed that the Microsoft Lumia 950 will be made available via US mobile service provider AT&T online beginning November 17, with the units selling in the latter’s physical stores on Friday, November 20.
Citing AT&T’s announcement, fans can purchase a Microsoft Lumia 950 in Matte Black or Matte White versions with a USD0 downpayment via the mobile carrier’s Next program or the usual two-year contract. A two-year commitment will cost a new user USD599.
The Verge said the Microsoft Lumia 950 is the tech company’s first Windows 10-powered mobile phone. One attractive feature of the smartphone is its ability to transform into a PC via Continuum and a Microsoft Display Dock. The Display Dock will allow a user connect a monitor, mouse or keyboard to the phone. It also has a facial recognition feature that allows users to unlock their smartphone, log into websites or purchase apps using their faces.
