The last episode of the previous season of “My Hero Academia” introduced the so-called Big Three of UA, which is a trio composed of the school’s top students. They are basically the closest to becoming professional heroes, with the main figure being Mirio. In “My Hero Academia” Season 4, this odd tough guy and Deku will be working together as interns, and the latter’s inaction will have major consequences for the former.
As OtakuKart notes, anyone who has read the “My Hero Academia” manga has every reason to be excited about the upcoming season. There will be some new villains involved, along with new characters and new battles. What’s more, “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will also feature a new danger to the hero community; possibly its greatest threat yet.
This comes in the form of a weapon that can erase a person’s Quirk. At first, the effects will be weak enough for it to wear off after a while. However, the goal of the villains developing this weapon is to make the erasure permanent. This is what Mirio will be subjected to in “My Hero Academia” Season 4 because Deku will fail to act.
For those who have not read the manga, the entirety of the plot of “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will hinge on a little girl named Eri. Deku and Mirio will first meet this child out in public as she is running away from Overhaul. Instead of rescuing the girl from the villain, however, the duo simply allowed her to be taken away.
This then set off a chain of events that eventually culminated in Mirio becoming Quirkless by the end of “My Hero Academia” Season 4. Fans will see how this will happen for themselves soon enough, with the upcoming season premiering in October.
