“My Hero Academia” Season 4 has released a brand new trailer, highlighting the new characters that will take center stage throughout its storyline. Among them is Nighteye, a Pro Hero who has the ability to see the future, albeit only for a limited scope.
Nighteye will play a significant role in “My Hero Academia” Season 4 as he’ll be leading the attack against the Shie Hassaikai or the “Eight Precepts of Death.” This Yakuza organization is being spearheaded by a character named Kai Chisaki, a villain who has the ability to dismantle and reassemble matters at will, Comicbook reported.
The main storyline of “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will revolve around Chisaki and a young girl named Eri. It will be revealed that Chisaki is using Eri’s gift to rob people of their abilities, weaponizing her Quirk to take down heroes and weaken the entire agency.
Serendipitously, Midoriya will come across Eri and Chisaki during his patrol with Togata. The encounter was quite tense and heartbreaking, especially when both students discover what Chisaki has been doing to Eri. Thus, audiences should expect massive fight scenes in “My Hero Academia” Season 4, particularly involving the Big Three of the academy. (Warning: major spoilers ahead).
One of the most significant developments of the upcoming entry is Togata losing his Quirk. As one of the strongest students in the school, the hero falling victim to the Quirk-destroying bullets will be felt by the hero association given that Togata is quite the promising recruit. As such, more responsibilities will be levied on the shoulders of Midoriya, underlining the urgency of mastering All Might’s One For All before All For One makes another move. The good news is that Togata’s situation isn’t a hopeless cause since Shota said that Eri can still reverse the effects of her powers once she gets a better handle of her gifts. Whether or not “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will cover this part of the story remains to be seen, however.
Meanwhile, the Villain Alliance will also be rearing its ugly again during this installment and will even be bumping horns against Chisaki’s organization. Indeed, the confrontation ended with both factions suffering minor losses. Regarding the release date of “My Hero Academia” Season 4, the new trailer revealed that it will drop on Oct. 12.
